Lehigh University, Temple Owls, Lasalle Explorers, Drexel Dragons, Penn Quakers, Villanova Wildcats, phillies, Eagles, Flyers, and Sixers. All these are pretty close to me. I might have forgot a college or two.
Only thing that stinks for you in your life Illini is there is no pro football, well that is if you don't count USC.

Fighting Illini about 2.5 hours away, Mizzou about 1.5 hours away. All Stlouis teams 15 minutes away. Indy Colts and Pacers 4 hours away. SIU Carbondale about 1hr 45 min away. Fairmount Park ponies about 10 minutes away. SIU Edwardsville (now Division 1) 15 minutes away.

Ithaca College and Cornell are both 5 mins away. IC usually has a decent football team, but nothing worth going to. Cornell is ranked 25th for basketball now, so that's exciting.

Unfortunately the closest pro team is about 3 hours away (Bills and Sabres.)
I do settle for AAA baseball in Syracuse and Rochester when my Braves are in town. Both about an hour away...
