Some Numbers About SBR Forum and January Estimation
Complied from various sources and some DD:

    - Traffic was by 9.50% for January.
    - Pageviews/User up Almost 10%. (Increased loyalty)
    - Bounce Rate slightly down. (First time members more likely to stay)
    - More time spent on site.
    - Reach went slightly down.

I might be way off, but don't count on it.

This makes sense since we had Christmas and some bad stuff happen in December. Some of those who "left" created ghosters and they are now back in. Christmas is over and people are starting to DO WORK.

February should be the real test. Good luck SBR!

My estimation would be minimal use of ghost accounts

I don't know about that. I only speculate and estimate according to info I get from DD.

Looks like not a lot are willing to comment on this. I know SBR wouldn't comment on this, but I'd like to hear some of the big boys come and have their say. Gold? Fishead? Illini?

The compete.com numbers will be out on the 10th. Thanks to all you guys I am expecting an impressive Jan book.

SBR has passed theRx by a considerable margin. Thats pretty good considering SBR was the smallest forum among the majors and 8 years behind the Rx's considerable head start. The growth has been well managed too imo. All revenue increases have been re invested in better contests, points, bashes, ect. Still a lot of new stuff coming and thats what is fun to me about SBR.

Answering a question with a question is a sign of weakness.

Would love to see SBR competing with Covers but I just don't see it happening.

There is plenty of ghosting and point whoring going around. Ignore those facts and get skewed numbers, good day.

Watch and see. Also keep in mind the SBR traffic happens over a lot of different domains. To be fair we would need to add up SBRFOrum.com, SBROdds.com, Sportsbookreview.com, SBRPoints.com SBR.TV and several more and THEN comapre that number to covers. I think by this time next year....

..and yes, the credit and thanks goes to the loyal posters who have spread the word.

I wouldn't be surprised if by the end of this year SBR is right up there with covers, if not past them.
