Does anyone here subscribe to them? I've toyed with the idea of following him but can't quite make the decision. He seems to do well enough.

#4Dr.Bob's plays last year sure did make the lines move. They probably won't be as golden this year IMOComment -

#6I'm not gonna ban anyone for saying that about ace-ace OF. Everyone has a right to there opinion about the guy as long as it doesn't get out of hand. If that happens then I gotta move the post to the private section.Comment -

#7I never subscribed to Dr. Bob, however before he became a fee service I always used to compare my handicapping to his analysis. A lot of times he was bang on. When he went to a subscribe only service I quit checking up on him.Comment -

#9I like his write ups. He does his homework. I got his plays for a few weeks last year. Just my luck he was in a slump. I think it was 05 that he really had a bang up year.Comment -

#1105 was a bonafide chalk year. What did he do last year? The last ten years? If anyone subscribes could they share?Comment -

#12If you are going to follow him, you need to click refresh every second when they come out, have a line service up, and bet within 3 seconds. There are teams of players doing this, which crashes the line so fast.Comment -

#13Everyone did well in 2005. I hit 64% that year and I am a lifetime 57% college football capper. 2005 was unusually formful -- should be thrown out of the equation.Comment -

#14Just like any other tout, they eventually end up around 50%
Always remember he would not be selling picks if he was so good, he would just bet himself and be rich.Comment -

#15From his site:
I am very proud of my 57% long term win percentage on my Football Best Bets over 19 years in business (59.3% the last 2 years since adjusting my handicapping methods) and my 55% win percentage on my Basketball Best Bets (58% this past season), and I'm constantly frustrated by the number of times I hear novice gamblers say that 55% isn't even winning after taking into account the juice they have to pay on losses.Comment -

I love these losers.
NO ONE WOULD WORK IF YOU CAN HIT 58%, ALL WE WOULD DO IS LOG ONTO DR BOBS SITE AND BET HIS PICKS.
HOW MANY FUKIN TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY THIS?Comment -

#17Someone asked a question and I replied based on his site. I said I do NOT subscribe to him. He may have had 3 good years to boost his average as someone said he went 70% in 05. I'm surprised we haven't seen Dr. Joey slatts web site up and running.Comment -

#19I know you guys hate touts around here... however, for those that like to use them sometimes, M. Cannon has made me a lot of $ on college and pro basketball for years. Take it or leave it, but it's a fact.Comment -

#23jj.. sometimes you just dont get it.. i know the bob situation very well, and he nets over 1 million a yeat in prfots from his tout service.. i do agree with you that with his 58% hit rate, he could make more betting the games, but its NOT a sure thing ,and betting that big has many other problems. i have been with bob for over 8 years and his track record is all true.. i do believe his best days are behind him however, as he has become way to popular... but no one is more honest,as hard of a worker and as smart as that guy when it comes to tout services..
saying that guys who can hit 58% would never sell their picks b/c they would just be better off betting the games themselves is like saying, a trader who can make 30% plus a year would never run a hedge fund.. he would just manage his own money.. NOT TRUEComment -

#24He has probably lost tons and tons of subscribers because there is no need to get his picks directly from him -- just watch the line movement and if you believe in him, ride the wave..Comment -

#28Those touts that got busted in Florida were flat out terrible and they were making $5-10 million a year.
I've heard that Jim Fiest makes around the $7 million a year range.
If the over/under for Dr Bob is $1 million a year put me down on the over.Comment -
