its been 4 years since my dad died but im still pissed about the insurance he had. It was some kind of insurance he had when he was in vietnam.
My mom paid 40 dollars a month for 30 years, paid all the deductables.
About a month before he died, he couldnt' pass a physical, and my mom decided not to pay the last deductable which was like 4 grand. They were also divorced. A month later he died after checking himself out of the hospital. Not sure why but me or my mom got nothing from the insurance. Not sure why and still confused about it. I remember being a kid and not going out to play so i could hand the insurance lady a check when she knocked on the door. Not sure why i got nothing or its because of the last deductable or what.
