True...quality over quantity makes a huge difference. The problem with most of us is that we have no discipline, plus the traditional greed.

You are not going 5-2, 4-1, 10-5, etc but you will go 0-5, 1-5, 2-6, 3-4 and eventually your so far behind you cannot get it back

I am a small player and that is it... Sammy I go 2-7 picks... Have had two losing weeks out of maybe the last 15. But bets are small...my largest bets are $500 or less...and my small bets are small!

But I am 4-1 on week..and the only loss was not ML...so its ok... Winning week already locked in...

i still am a firm believer that over the long run without bonus money almost everyone is a loser. by bonus whoring and scalping almost everyone would be a winner.
simple as that, and it takes no handicapping skill.

I agree with JJ here. Unless you have a formula/program that gives you an edge in betting then you are best learning over the years what games to go big on and sticking with that. Discipline yourself to only bet the teams you know and follow. You will find spots the team does good in and spots the team does bad. If you only bet once a month and win the bet you are a winner and that is what matters in this game. The bettor who has no formula or angle advantage over the book (this is 99% of all sports bettors), and bets every day anyway..... is the book's dream.

If you wanna be successful and actually make money gambling, you only make 1 or 2 sometimes 3 bets a day and that is it. Somedays you will only 1 bet, or maybe no bets at all.
