    Matchbook Concern
I have read lots of stuff about Matchbook, but I haven't seen this really discussed in depth.

Since you are using a person-to-person betting exchange, say the Giants are @ +105, and the max stake currently for this bet is $250. You intend to wager $2k, the $250 is automatically wagered on your behalf for the Giants @+105, however the remainder of your $2k will theoretically never go into play if no one matches the $2k for the opposite side at that price?

    Yes, that's how exchanges work.

Eh I sometimes make outlandish bets so I'm pretty sure I'll just use matchbook for my more conventional straight bets then.

unless it's a live betting games.

I had once left money sitting there only to find out it's a live betting game.
