The tv sports guys have done more to make guys in their 40's and 50's feel ancient when they keep saying over and over again at 40 how old Favre is.The one I hear most is that he's older than dirt.Or,will he still be living to play next year? With all the talk,it probably spiked the sales of every age remedy know to mankind including get rid of the grey tonic and Viagra. All these companies should give Favre cut of the profits.

Favre has to get a rid of the grey tonic endorsement.I can't think of a better guy to get if you ran an ad agency.Did Fridge Perry ever do a fridge commercial?

If you look real close when Favre is getting up off the turf you can see where it looks like he's got a Depends on.

You're only truly old when you listen to music performed by people younger than you.

You have to just put it in perspective. To play football he is old. To be just a normal guy hes 40! I'm 33, not that far from 40. I haven't stayed in the best shape the last few years & sometimes I wake up hurting. When I was 23 I used to make fun of older people. How can you lay in a bed sleeping & wake up hurting? IT HAPPENS when you get older.
I know Favre is in great shape but at 40 you just can't be taking hits like that anymore. He's not old, just old to be playing football. I'm not old, just old to be at the rave on Friday night.

Favre is old. My dad might relate better to this thread.

Anyway, I still listen to music from people much older than I. Those guys knew what music was.

I think the post read 'music from people YOUNGER than you.'

I read the post. Perhaps it was misleading the way I phrased it.

I am young, Favre is old, I listen to music made by people older than Favre.

It really does seem that young musicians are fukking terrible, so we may never run into the problem.

Blow to the ego is knowing your peers you played with are professional superstars and you're in a cubicle.
