    Another Bankroll Managment Thread
    Hi!

A friend of mine and me put a bankroll togheter of 4000 Euro. We are now planing the bankroll Managment.

We are planing to bet every night on us sports (nba, ncaab and nhl for now, later mlb and nfl too) and 2-3 times a week on soccer.

our yield in the past was 20-25 %.

the plan is to put 4-6 % of bankroll at the time; not for one game!

f.e. tonight were betting on four ncaab games and one nba (all spread bets around 1.90-1.95). each one 1.2 % of our br.

if there were online two games to bet on we would put 2 % on both games so its 4 % of our br in total.

on the soccer games we put max 5 % on one game also odds around 2.0 . if there are two or more games we will set bets up to 6 % of our br.

what do you say? - is this a very conservativ, conservativ, normal, risky or very risky br managment?

Your post isn't particularly clear. But I don't see how someone can have 4000 units. A unit is a set percentage of your bankroll in cash.

          4000 € * 0.05 % = 200 € * 0.20 / 0.25 = 40 / 50 € * 40 (30 US Sports, 10 Soccer) = 1600 / 2000 € per month

          Is that so crappy?

ah ok, i was referring to your overall hold as a % of amount risked.

The positive thing about sharing an account (money) with a friend is that both of you must agree about the bets. So at least in theory it should be almost imposible to make impulsive bets, and this can save you a lot of money. Good luck.

yes that is a very good thing about that. i am the one who place the bets, and that i take care over a friends money i will be even more careful.

also the joy is even bigger when you win togheter with somebody.

well back to the topic - does anyone has a word on our br managment plan?

I would say that your betting amounts are between normal and risky (5% on one soccer match is too high unless you have a substantial edge). I woud tend to go with a flat amount per bet rather than an amount to be risked per day/night.

If you have a situation on a Saturday when you want to bet on 10 soccer matches, just reduce the stakes at bit to avoid having too high a proportion of your bankroll on concurrent events.

                    thank you dunder.

besides the soccer plays, its not that risky or is it?

any more opinions on my managment?

Just bet the same amount every game or match and you'll never go broke. Never have more than 20 percent of your roll in on a given day. Do that and you'll survive to bet another day.

So one says 5 % is too much risk and the other say 20 % at the same time should be the max!? D:

Well I think I will do some more research on my own on this...
