I say either Vick or McNabb will be behind center in Phoenix.

If Favre is available they should pursue him.

Vick doesn't fit well with that offense. They need more of a pure passer. There's too much money invested in Leinhart to go get a high profile free agent anyway.

They say Friday he is going to retire, whoever it is they will struggle to go 8-8.

None of these guys are Kurt Warner

Kurt Warner's NFL future and past

It's just a scheduled press conference; no indication he will retire, although it does seem to me he'll likely put up the pads. He probably doesn't want the grind any longer. He needs to let the team know what his plans are so they can prepare for the future. Surely Matt Leinart can step in and do well with more game experience and maturity.

Also you could see the pain in his friends and wifes faces when he took big crushing hits.

Kurt Warner is a strong willed man and football player with a real nice life story behind him to read about and more chapters to come.

Kurt Warner is/was a great player (Quarterback) and tremendous person, IMO who seems to have that persona that desires spending his free time working for and with his family and others (church and kids) to do good deeds. I am glad to be able and say I seen him play the game of football and the path in which he took to get at the highest level. Kurt Warner worked hard and had a tough road. He didn't get everything handed to him freely on a silver platter. Remember he sacked groceries before he became a star in football.

It'll be hard for him to do much more on the NFL stage that he hasn't already done. His career was super and dream come true that most of us could actually only pray for.

He may become a real good sports broadcaster or coach as well.

On a side note about another longtime QB in the league. I believe Brett Favre had much interest in personal records that kept him coming back for more

I am glad, too as I like(d) to sit down watch Brett Favre perform every game he was in over his career, He is one of my favorite players in the history of the game supplying Many memorial memories for all fans of the NFL

Both men, Kurt Warner and Brett Favre are/were good for the NFL.

            What are your opinions?

            Thanks
