ipad will be available through cell phone carriers (not announced yet). So lets say you buy one from ATT, you get a data contract (will run on wifi and cell tower data)...so itll prob be like $900 no cell contract, $600 cell contract....prob $30-$45 a month for data

The press conference is over. I was hoping for iphone stuff too.....but nope. Only works on 3g carriers. ATT locked up a deal.......but its an unlocked device so it will work on Tmobile

My $300 1 year old netbook runs MAC OSX and Windows XP - and this gigantic iPod can't.

Not to mention, I have a camera built into the front of mine for video chat, three usb ports, DVD, vga out bluetooth, mic in... and I can run every program I want... on any network I want.
