there is a ceiling, if you fall below it, no federal taxes are withheld...but my wife and i combine make over 120K, so this just add's to it. My business setup costs should take care of most of it, but its just fukking stupid.

mine has been setup and licensed since april 09, why would i need to change?

this is for lawyers to solve for me, and then charge the cost to the fuks who brought the case up to begin with.

I imagine they have the name registered before you set up your business since they sent you a cease order.

wife and i COMBINED make over 120K. I owe my old man about 17K cash not to mention his mortgage. trust me, i've got fukked up debt. But the 2nd job is for cash, plain and simple.

here is how my lawyer responded..

My initial inclination is that this is a far stretch, but my only
hesitation is that your website contains the full trademarked name
"Sunrise Debt Solutions USA." I suppose you tried to get the domain
name "www.sunrisedebtsolutions.com" but it wasn't available?

I think this is something we should definitely do some preliminary
research on if it isn't something that you could easily change with out
adversely affecting your business because trademark infringement
penalties can be very stiff for violating, especially if the violation
is knowingly. If you'd like, I'd propose that we have one of our clerks
from the U of I Law School do the research, which would save you a
significant amount of money. Our clerks are generally billed at about
$40-$50 per hour and we often end up writing off some of that time;
whereas, my hourly rate is $155, so it makes less sense for me to
conduct the upfront research.

Let me know how you'd like me to proceed.
