I live ten minutes from there so I never pay for a high priced suite with a jacuzzi. Water club and the new tower at harrahs are newest hotels at casinos. I doubt its gonna be cheap though. The Borgata has never given me a suite with my black card. Either way if you want a room with a jacuzzi its gonna be a suite. Weekdays are your best bet, offseason as far as price goes.

My buddy stayed at resorts which is a dump like 5 years ago, when he was in town from new york, on a saturday night in season and it was 200 bucks. Depends on when your coming to town and where your gonna stay. Tropicana has advertised some decent room rates of late and they got the quarter there which is like walking thru a mall with every other store is a bar or a nightclub. Check that one out first I would suggest since its not too bad a place to stay and you may be able to grab a rate since they have had money problems there for the last 4 or 5 years. Avoid the hilton and the marina, those places are dumps.

All in AC look the same, nothing too flattering. If you want to dish out some big money you can get a really nice suite though.

The Borgata is nice, do you plan on playing before hand? If so you might be able to get something from the pit boss depending on your betting amounts

If you lived here you would LOL. Kinda tough not to when you got 24 hr action, 365 along with 1000 bars in a 10 mile radius.

Along with the casinos I know of off hand 17 weekly poker house games in Atlantic county alone. And that doesnt included stockton college wheres theres probably another 10 or more nightly. Lotta shit to do, all the time. Hell we were playin 25 cent 50 cent limit holdem in the back of the corner bar a few years back cause there wasnt any sports on the tube LOL. We all bought up all the rolls of quarters from the bartender and were splashing our bets into a hat in the middle of the table.

What type of stakes you looking for? Most in brigantine, lotta dealers have games there. Few out in mays landing as well. I play one a week out in EHT at my buddys house who cant play in the casinos cause hes a shift manager with a key license. I used to deal poker so I know a lot of dealers and supervisors. Games are live, lotta action. I avoid those cause you can drop a deuce real quick.

No limit and a ton of pot limit omaha H/L mainly. The dealers games are mostly 5/10 or higher limit omaha H/L since everybody knows most dealers love action since they sit at work for 6 to 8 hours a day and watch poker for a living. Couple guys have tourneys followed by cash games. The one I play is sweet as hell. My boy goes all out and gets food delivered from a catering service, has a couple dealers and a hot 20 year old piece of ass bringing us drinks.

EHT. No game this week or next week since the opens in town. He'll get it going after the opens done. Usually on Monday or Tuesday night lotta people have off those days. I took today off from poker altogether. Brains fried. 200 dollar rebuy tomorrow should be entertaining to see how many times people will reload for a buck seventy a pop. Turnouts have been shit except for the 400 last wednesday. Tomorrows is 100k guarenteed so hopefully they'll get around a thousand players or so. Havent cashed any of em yet but only down a nickel overall since the cash games have been real live.

If not a big gambler I would skip Atlantic City. I would go to downtown Philly. The gambling is the biggest Attraction in AC, especially in the Winter. Rooms can be pretty expensive, But if you gotta go I would stay at Borgata.
