#10What happened to your almanac?Originally posted by Dark HorseIf with religion you mean belief system, your belief system is your religion. Again, it matters not what it is. You believe in it, you are loyal to it, would defend it, and yet have no proof of it, other than that, at one point or another, you chose to believe in it. Self-hypnosis. This is entertainment to me. I can't get hurt TODAY. In the past, yeah I fuked up a lot. But never hurt my credit. Own a business. Own a house. Own all my vehicles. But I should have been done working now. But will have to for a couple more decades cuz of my choices.

#25Originally posted by I/OI get that. But you need to understand NOW you will never win. Go ahead and continue to bet. But bet what you can lose. Set aside a number YOU WILL donate to your book. Get some control of this or it will control you forever.

Yea I suppose you are right. It's hard for me to understand that. I've always won at everything I do. So if I lose a bet, it's a shock. Then in my mind, I gotta win this next one to make up for it, ya know. The money doesn't bother me that much.....it's the thrill of winning. That feeling is almost as good as sex.Comment -

#26losing $10K over 5 weeks doesn't mean you went on tilt, just means your wager size was too large for your bankroll and that you're a below average capper. you probably hit 40% during this time, but since 95% of your bets were huge chalk, your bankroll simply couldn't sustain itself.
tilt is more like starting with $10K on day 1 and then busting out on day 7 due to a bad beat you experienced on the evening of day 6 which you couldn't sleep-off. at which point, on the following morning of day 7, you divided up your remaining bankroll into 2 ridiculously large-sized bets and went 0-2 on them. that's textbook tilting and they make for great stories.Comment -
