If an nhl game does not go overtime there is 62% chance the game goes under the total of 6.

A total of 5.5 if the game does not go overtime goes under 53%

BUT

when you throw a team like the capitals into the equation, who is averaging 3.8 goals per game, the most in the league, those percentages dont mean anything

same rule applies with a team like the flyers, blackhawks, penguins, (teams who produce goals more then the average team)
