Anyone else notice the immediate cut to Favre's wife during the game last night... when he supposedly got "injured." That was the first time anyone I know had ever seen Favre's wife (most of us didn't even know he was married). So, you've got Favre limping off the fielld, and after a quick tape job, he's right back on the field showing no ills... and they used to think Bradshaw was the best at faking injuries. And when this happens, for the first time ever, the cameras cut to Favre's wife, and they know exactly where she's sitting. Hmmm...My bet is that Favre accomplished exactly what he wanted to do this year, i.e., show up the Packers, and now has no more interest in playing for the Vikings than he did for the Jets when he was done with them. But, he doesn't want to bail on the Vikings the same way he did the Jets due to all the flack he caught for doing that. So, he's going to announce his retirement AND say that the reason he's retiring is his wife's concerns for his health.

I'm not sure what planet you have been living on but Favre's wife has been on TV a million times. She even received an ESPY for him before when he couldn't be there. She was on TV alot when his dad died and when she had health problems. He's been married since college.Comment -

They only showed his wife 200 times during that game the other night. I will say one thing for farve though I don't know too many 40 year olds that can take a beating like that. They were knocking the crap out of him all game. The turnovers really killed them.Comment -
