Sent my book a couple hun in Oct and for the life of me I can not get above a grand and stay there. Especially after doing shit like this, I had two plays yesterday...G`town (loser) and Atlanta (winner). Guess which one I had a couple hun on? And the one I DID NoT PLAY? So instead of only losing the vig, I am down 220 for the day. I feel like punching or breaking something I am so mad at myself...and that is a feeling I do not usually have from gambling. Pardon me for taking 20 seconds of your time to open and read this thread...hoping that if I break my own balls by putting this out there that something positive will come from it.

#4Appreciate your thoughtful, kind, cosideration Fishhead. I think what I am going to do is cashout my original investment and try to work with the 5 hun or so that leaves me, minus the 10 thousand hour investment!!. Maybe I need to bring myself down a notch.Comment -

#9I agree with Bobby and makes all your bets the same amount and ever change them based on a percentage of your bankroll. There is no way you can decipher than one game has a better chance of winning vs another as it is all the same outcome 50%. God Bless You.Comment -

#14Originally posted by FishheadGo grab some bonuses my friend..........you are sitting on thousands and thousands and don't even know it.Though I understand the thought process and money managment in doing so. My first time around this forum was no where near as pleasant as this time. I wonder if that is because I did not know how to respond to forumville as I was a virgin to forums then. I thought some people were rude and very mean at times. That in turn brought out the daygo in me, which is never good! Thanks again Men.

#15Originally posted by PittsburghPlayerI will definately take that under advisement. I feel a sense of relief from having done a cash-out. Hope and even think it might help. I will let you men know how it goes, as I might not stick to the 10 and 20 dollar bets!!Though I understand the thought process and money managment in doing so. #17Originally posted by PittsburghPlayerupstate NY. In fact last year before I left I thought I had a deal with you where I was going to give you my 4 hundred and something points for two winners, but you never got back to me. I may not have helped my cause by sending you a PM that had "I don`t give a shit" as the subject, though the body of the letter was non confrontational. I believe I wrote I don`t give a shit if you do not want to proceed with the arangement. But if one were to not open the PM and see just subject, well. I am getting long winded and used to be a rock band!! Not in one.

#23Pittsburgh Boy! I think you got some good advice here mate, remember that in gambling your biggest enemy isn't your luck, it's not the fukkin bookies - in gambling the biggest enemy you will ever face is yourself, your urge."I have never seen a wild thing feel sorry for itself. A little bird will fall dead, frozen from a bough, without ever having felt sorry for itself."

#24Appreciate the thought John Anthony. Actually my biggest enemy has been the lack of confidence...inability to pull the trigger. I generally play between 3 and 7 games a week. If I played the same amount of money on the 10 or 15 gut feelings or games I cap per week I think that would fukk me up less for when I do decide to make a play. Jimmy the Greek said that scared money loses, and while I am not losing I have been playing scared... to not lose a lot of days. So my biggest enemy is not so much the urge, but it is myself. Will keep you posted, Thanks.Comment -

#26Pittsburgh, I'm currently on a real money sports betting hiatus until baseball season.
It feels good taking a break. You can actually enjoy watching games and couldn't care less what the final score is.
Hang in there pal, clear your head and figure out what's best for you.
