Apple (sym: AAPL) is having a huge product announcement starting at 10am PST. Below is the actual invite sent by apple.
Whats so big? The Apple 10" tablet will be released. It will be amazing, but the rumor mill is buzzing, and so are news orgs like fox and CNN. Steve Jobs (apple CEO) was heard saying he has never been more excited about a product launch before.
Part 2: Something is happening with the iPhone line. It's almost guarenteed a new iPhone will NOT be introduced. But wait....iPhone software 4.0 will most likely be released/announced, because the tablet will run with the app store availability, blah blah hard to explain.
But the biggest news of all, which will (if it is announced), is that the iPhone will be released on every major carrier! Isn't weird how the colors in apples event invite match the major carriers (see image below).
As of right now apple stock is at $203. Apple stock dropped, even after they announced Monday that they recorded a record profit quarter (highest in history). Reading up on it, a very common practice, a lot of shares were unloaded getting rdy for what is about to happen.
The stock price is going to skyrocket if/when the following things happen:
1. The tablet is introduced (tech magazines and news are calling it the biggest tech sannouncement in the tech world in the last 5 yrs).
2. The table is priced under $1000
3. iPhone is announced to another carrier (apple has sold millions on AT&T.....think verizon numbers....wow!)
The last announcement for iPhone 3gs and 3 new mac computers, the stock jumped 10-12$ in one day. Jumped 7$ right when the announcement was made.
This table is more highly wanted/focused on by the media/tech world then the 2nd coming of God.
If all 3 conditions are met, these shares could be in the 220-240 range shortly.
I will be watching and you should be to ready to fire. I have allocated my life savings ready to fire. I am not firing now because if the tablet is over 1k$ with no new carrier for iPhone, the stock price will fall due to disappointment analysts say.
It will not be broadcast live on tv, no audio feeds, nothin (not allowed by apple). But, you are allowed your computer and Internet devices. All major tech sites will be doing a live minute by minute web updates.

One analyst now claims that Apple may allow all U.S. Carriers to sell the iPhone:
