But the first one was replayed. Its OBVIOUS the ball moved, One could however argue that his forward progress was stopped and therefore the play was essentially over. Here is the litmus test; if the ball would have come out would that have been called a fumble or would the ball carrier be called down because his forward progress was stopped? I think we all know it would have been ruled a fumble. The replay official should have respotted the ball about 18 inches behind the forward progress ruling.
