Was a stupid throw, but this can't be pinned on him. All those turnovers are what fukked them over

Vikings got nobody to blame but themselves. 2 fumbles inside the Saints 10 cost them the game. Vikings were the better team today, but handed the game to the Saints on a silver platter.

Another thing that fukked the Vikings was the stupid penalty with 12 men in the huddle. Longwell could of made a 50 to 51 yard fg no problem but not a 56 yard fg. Childress tried to be cute and have the Saints guessing what play they would run and got flagged.

Not one person can take all the blame.. Fumbles, Ints, dropped passes, missed tackle's, all of it played a role.. Maybe without the flag, we would've made the kick.. Maybe we would have missed it.. No way to tell.. But with all that went wrong, its hard to just blame Favre..

The offensive coordinator lost the game for the Vikings, lack of protection and fumbles certainly didn't help. Just proves again that the best team doesn't always win.

At the end of regulation, a minute ± to go, the Vikes ran the ball twice 1st and second down when they really weren't in that good of FG range (that is on Childress), then Favre threw the INT (On Favre). They should have done better at that point in the game so they had a great chance to win and blew it, IMO.

You get 2nd and 3rd and 8 plays, from trying to run every 1st down and too many second downs the defense tees off on Favre.

they ran twice and got nothing they were set up to try a 50 yarder and were going to run again til Favre tried to call 2 consecutive time outs after the coach sent out wrong players then he had to throw and the Saints knew it.

Bingo. Add on the 12 men in the huddle penalty and you're out of fg range. If you would've gained yards on 1st and 2nd down and didn't get a stupid penalty then Favre wouldn't have even been in that position where he felt like he had to make a play. If he throws a missile like he normally does then that pass would have been completed. The ball came out poorly and fluttered on him. Questionable decision yes but a poor throw is what did it.

I agree with you. Everybody wants to blame Farve for the lost but really it wasn't all Farve. Farve will probably get the blame because he was the cause of the last turnover when he threw the int.

I totally put the loss on Childress. Horrible play calling. He was satisfied with a 50 yard field goal attempt to try and win hence the two terrible run plays. Awful. And then coming out with 12 men in the huddle? Favre should not have been in that position trying to get yards on 3rd and 15. Childress is a joke. An even bigger joke is that they gave him an extension a few weeks ago. Fire this asshole now. I hate being a Minnesota sports fan. FML.

I totally agree with that horrible clock mismanagement they never should have been facing a 3rd and 15 at the 37 yardline with 19 seconds left. The bad coaching there was totally amazing. The looked like they were in a trance the last minute of the game. The favre int was setup before the play even started. Favre maybe the toughest son of a bitch to ever play the game. 40 years old and to take that kind of punishment showed unbelievable toughness by Brett.

jj thats right I predicted this now that doesn't make me Nostradumus, but I KNEW its typical he does this at the end of games Iblame this factor on his age hes tired and can't get it done, he will give you everything hes got but if he can;t win in those spots what good is it.
