Actually, what I've learned to do is spot +EV opportunities wherever they may lie.

Who knows -- maybe you do have incredible taste buds and can consistently taste the difference between two flavorless alcohols. If so, and if you take the bet, I'll be out some money. But you know what ... that's a risk I'm completely willing to take.

As far as concentration we can go with Mr. Boston recipe for vodka tonics.

As far as brands go, you can pick the premium brand, I'll pick the well brand. You can limit to a maximum cost per bottle if you like.

As far as bet amount goes, I'll leave that up to you.

The bet will be settled at the Rx Bash in Vegas, which is September 7-8.

The drinks will be mixed by an impartial bartender, and will be divided up into some number of small shot glasses. Each glass will be marked with a number, and only the bartender will know which number contains which drink. The bartender will not be in the room while you are tasting the drinks.

The challenge will be for you to identify which drinks contain the premium vodka and which contain the well vodka, such that we can be statistically certain (up to a stated level of confidence) that the results are not purely the product of chance.

That's why I only buy distilled water. It may have started out as tap water but the distilling process leaves clean pure water. All big corporations basically sell tap water in a bottle it's a huge market.

First off bother have to be action junkies to do this or another word might be a degenerate gambler.

Secondly how do we know contest is fair? Ganch could rig the drink with some chemical that makes it taste just like the real stuff.

What has to happen is meet in Vegas a innocent bystander that has no ties to either can pick the bar in a casino.

Still don't know though if either will go to tons of casinos and tip off the bartenders to rig the contest that would be seem to be a lot of work. I think we are safe there.

Unfortunately it is equally bad to freeze bottled water. That killed my idea of marketing 'broken water', which is created by freezing the water until the outer layer is frozen, but the inside is still liquid. By squeezing such a bottle the ice is crunched. In the summer heat it's great to drink bottled water with chunks of ice floating in it!

Why not just buy a water purifier instead of Aquafina on a regular basis. After all your saying you would get the same results correct?

chlorine vanishes by itself when water is left in open container, even dogs and cats know that - that is why they usually do not drink water right after they got "fresh tap water"; but i believe that many fundamentalists give Evian to doggie, so they can not test it

I drink Poland Spring pretty religiously, but I don't mind drinking filitered tap water from the sink. Doesn't taste bad like some other places I've been.
