    Vick's co-defendant enters plea
Bad news for Vick. Co-defendant entered a plea with the govervment. They are taking this guy down. Nothing like prosecutors with boners for the spotlight.

This move really crushes Vick's chances to beat these charges for sure. You have to start and wonder just how much jail time might he really get.

My question is if you are on the jury, do you believe this scumbag who took this plea. It looks like the guys that were more involved are going to do less time than the governments big target.

Great response. It is just funny how Vick housed, and payed for this scumbag. Big gov. is just trying to set an example. Find Bin Laden for Christs sake. Dogfighting? Give me a break. 6 years???

I say vick is done, here's the latest on the plea

RICHMOND, Va. -- One of Michael Vick's co-defendants pleaded guilty yesterday to his role in a dogfighting conspiracy he says was financed almost entirely by the Atlanta Falcons quarterback.

As part of a plea agreement, Tony Taylor pledged to fully co-operate with the government in its prosecution of Vick and two other men accused of running an interstate dogfighting enterprise known as "Bad Newz Kennels" on Vick's property in rural Surry County.

"The 'Bad Newz Kennels' operation and gambling monies were almost exclusively funded by Vick," a summary of facts supporting the plea agreement and signed by Taylor states.

The plea deal requires Taylor to testify against Vick and his two remaining co-defendants if called upon to do so. Taylor cannot get a stiffer sentence or face any new charges based on any new information he provides, according to terms of the agreement.

Additional charges are possible, however, against Vick and the other two. Federal prosecutors have said a superseding indictment will be issued in August.

"Killer" Ray Lewis never did any time after it was all said and done. Somehow I don't see Vick going to jail for killing a few dogs.

The whole thing just seems stupid as hell to me. It's probably the "gambling" aspect that makes it such a terrible crime.
