To whom it may concern,
My name is Lawrence Garcia and I would like to make you aware of a situation that is going on with your son, Patrick Venditto, that I believe is getting way out of hand. From a young age Patrick was a skilled baseball player with a bright future ahead of him but then he fell into a addiction of gambling that led to fraud bribery and miscellaneous acts associated with his conduct. Recently for the past 2 years he has been posting on a gambling forum while associating himself with a lot of people that have made bad decisions in life and my concern is that if his issues are not addressed then he will in-turn resemble these addicts that will steal, mislead, and fraud honest hard working people out of there money just to get his fix. In the past year he has went broke multiple times gambling that resulted in him getting fired from his job at the supermarket, stiffing people online for unheard of amounts of money, and using online bookmakers on credit to get his fix at any means necessary. In his last instance of turmoil he stiffed me $200 dollars so he could gamble. We agreed into a exchange of funds for a deposit into another merchant and once I sent Patrick the money he then disappeared and laughed in my face talking about what a sucker I was. Just when I thought he couldn’t go any lower he posted a message on the forum, as stated beforehand, that he donated my money to the Haitian relief fund. Not only is this kid going down the wrong path but he is in denile over what has become of him. My intent in this message isn’t for you to punish your son or even to get my money back, my intent is for you to offer him support with his problems. I'd suggest counseling, Gamblers anonymous meetings, and family support. Gambling is one of the toughest drugs to overcome and I believe with time love and support Patrick can have a successful life. If Patrick continues on his path he will continue to get in trouble and endanger not only himself but his family. Currently he is in-debt to a online bookmaker over $1,000 USA, he has been warned via email that if he does not repay the debt that his situation will be handed promptly. In closing i have left a link with the information pertaining to his debt that I feel should be cleared up immediately to prevent any consequences surrounding the matter. Thank you very much for taking note of my concerns and i wish you and your family future success in all your endeavors.
Sincerely
Lawrence Garcia
