#8My junior year of college i locked myself in my room during March Madness and had a buddy bring me a 30 pack and a grinder everyday for 5 days straight, oh yeah, I made 36k in a 5 day stretch with a max wager of 1k.....hit a lot of big dogs ATS and ML, needless to say I grabbed a few of the boys and we took a trip on me up to Montreal, that's a whole another story itself.Comment -

#91)I went 18-1 Early this year over a 19 game span, was on a gambling break for most of it so i don't really count that
2) went from $750 to 8k in a few weeks
3) $50 to $1950 in 11 days, which i consider my biggest accomplishment because i needed $1500 within 15 days or i was going to have to take a cash advance to pay off a debt i had.Comment -

#14I've won and lost so much its not even memorable any more. Last week I won $19.5k Playing BJ in Biloxi. I had a blackjack with a $1300 bet. I won 17K in a poker tourney in Seattle a few years back. I have had a lot of big wins, but tons of smaller losses that over shadow the wins. This has actually been one of the best gambling years that I can remember. I am up probably 75k this past year. BJ poker and some sports betting.Comment -

#20I had a few great streaks last year...12-1 twice, but unfortunately the plays were small. Quite a few years back I had a local screw me on half a point that gave me a push instead of a win on a game I went to. I went on a 12-0 run in NBA and cleared over three grand... I quit the book after I collected...Comment -

#21Love threads like these thinking back about the good days.
1) Xmas Eve/Day played Full Tilt from 12-6am turned $300 into $3,300.
2) Turned my last $200 I brought to the casino into $3,000 in 22 minutes.
3) Last college bball season turned a starting bankroll of $5k into $25k.
4) Hit 61% over the 2007 NFL season
5) Had USA for $750 the day they beat Spain like a year ago. Payed out nice.
6) Bet Giants spread and ML every game of the playoffs and Super Bowl which netted me about $7,600 the year they won the Super Bowl. Only because I am a diehard Giants fan.
7) On Full Tilt came in 400th/6,500+ in a FTOPS event. First payed over $300,000. I was chip leader with 500 people left.
Gambling Bad Times:
1) Got into trouble with a bookie for $3,600 when I was 16. I had like $250. Payed him weekly.
2) Lost $9,600 in the past two months.
3) Lost $1,000 at the casino in 31 minutes.
4) Went something like 1-9 on New Years Day for -$5,000+.Comment -

#34Years back I put $100 on Full TIlt Poker. turned it into roughly $5k playing various cash games. Played this guy who said he was Devon Hester's cousin (played for Miami at the time) 1 on 1 for like 7 hours straight. I'd say I won like $4k off him (was a Cap game, so sick). Pulled out, put it on Hollywood Poker. Ended up 3 handed with 2 guys one of him said he was Mike Stanley (the ex Yankee Player) and the other one supposedly was Chris Elliot the actor. Chris was a huge donkey. I left with over $14k. Bought a huge rock for my girl, Got engaged.
A lot has changed but that rock still shines on her finger every dayComment -

#35One of Pauly's many poker tournament story's:
Below is a perfect example of how hard it is to hit the big one even if you are playing your cards right you still have to dodge the Jackasses/Donkeys/badplayers/ETC. that lucked their way thus far into the tournament.
Here I will tell you what happened: I was four positions behind the big blind and everybody before me folded I had an ACE QUEEN suited the blinds were I believe $30,000 and $60,000 so i did the norm and raised to $180,000 everybody folded except the big blind he called me flop came ACE FOUR QUEEN three different suits so flush or strait draw odds were slim to none he bet $360,000 i raised to $780,000 he called turn came EIGHT he checked I went all in which was only about $280,000 more he called (mmmm.
as i am writing this i can see where i went wrong but you will see that he had no business being in the the f---inghand ANYWAY! Sorry about the language but this is bringing up nightmares about the situation. Sorry about the curve ball I will get back to the subject now) note his stack was only about 200 thou larger than mine at the beginning of the hand. HERE COMES THE RIVER it's a FOUR. I know you want to know what the jackass had right? Okay you ready? It was a blank --- blankety blanking THREE FOUR OFF F---ING SUIT! Believe me if this was a live tourny I would have gotten up calmly walked over to the other side of the table to Congradulate him and calmly CHOKE HIM OUT COLD! It would have been worth the JAIL sentence because I know that what ever bail that would have been set the good players would have bailed me out for doing such a good deed.I can't believe this the tourny was over three weeks ago and I am still pppiiissseeedddd! You might say I should be happy be cause I won $223.00 but no I have not played since. It's just to frustrating knowing that 1st place paid around $30,000! and I was less than 1% away from it by coming in 67th place so I ended up losing over 99% of the $ because of this. To me this was a $29,777.00 loss! I believe I was in the tournament for around 9 1/2 hours of sheer torture. which if you figure it out
223 - 11 tourny fee
divided by 9.5 =$22.31 per. hr. that's a crappy investment in my book for the hell you have to go threw. So what if I outlasted over 31,800 players shitty reward for doing so isn't it?
