Guide: How to post pictures from your IPHONE on SBR (easy pics with step by step)
Greetings folks. I have a little free time tonight so I thought I would share a very easy way to post pictures on SBR (or any other forum for that matter) from your Apple Iphone running firmware (software) 3.0 or higher. 3.0 or higher is required because of the copy and past function which is not available in firmware below 3.0. If you do not have a 3G Iphone and you are using the 1st Iphone, this will not work. If you have any questions, PM me or post them and I will be able to assist.
1. Once you go through the steps, you will be given an option to upload from your photo library or take a photo right there and upload. I find it better to take your picture, then go through the steps
1a. To start, you must first download a FREE ap from the Ap Store called "Photobucket". Photobucket is an online photo storage/sharing site. It is 100% free, very simple to use, and has a nice free app. Go ahead and download it.
2. Once you have downloaded, it will show up on your Iphone (as seen below). Lets go ahead and open it up.
3. You are now at the main screen. I have mine set to store my password and automatically login when I open the Ap. If you do not have a photobucket account, you must register. It's 100% FREE. Go ahead and register and then continue on. Here is the main screen when it opens and you are registered.
4. We are all set to upload our picture we have already taken. As you see it gives the option at the top you "choose existing or use camera". This writeup is for using a picture you have already taken. Go ahead and click "Upload Media" from the toolbar at the bottom.
5. It will now open up your photo album. Go ahead and select camera roll.
6.Your camera roll (photo album) is now open. The most recent picture you have already taken are at the bottom and go back in order to top. I have selected the very last picture a took, so select your picture.
7a. Once you click the photo, this screen comes up as your Iphone is gathering info.
7b. Your picture is now uploading, you can watch its progress on this screen. Remember, DO NOT close out the AP while its uploading or it will not upload and you will have to start over.
8. Your photo finished uploading. We are almost there! Wait....the screen is blank?? Yes it is. As pictured, select the "My Albums" button on the bottom toolbar.
9a. Your album will now be open. If you do not see the picture you uploaded, click the arrow that goes in a circle (refresh) at the top right corner.
9b. You see the picture you uploaded? Good! Go ahead and click on it, and the picture will open up full screen. You then want to click the lower right corner to a small letter "i" in a dot, as pictured.
10. You will see a few options now pop up. What you want to do is click on the text of the very last option. This will cope the IMG tag code as well as link to the picture.
11. If you did it right, you will see this popup. If you dont see it, ceep pressing on the text until it comes up.
12. Yes! We are all done in this damn app. Go ahead and close it out and goto SBR Forums.
13. Open up the thread (or create a new one) to where you are posting your picture. Click in the reply box, and hold your finger down for a second or 2, you will see a magnifying glass bubble followed by a "paste" button. Click paste
14. And you are done!!!! You do not need to do anything else but post! It already as the IMG tags on it, so you dont have to click anything on SBR's toolbar, ect. Here's what it will look like.
15. Submit your post and your pic will show up on the forum!
