he beat 2 cupcakes and is now playing the #27 seed, the crafty german, up 2 sets to nill but down a break in the 3rd

but without saying he's the guy to beat, he is starting to resemble the form he had before getting tendonitis in both knees last spring

i think he can take this aussie open if he just stays healthy the next 4.33 matches

ended up beating a very gm german #27 seed in 4 sets. nadal was not playing his best the last few sets but dug deep and got it done
