It's been quite a while since I visited the "Movers and Shakers" page and looked at the Top Ten Point Earners of All Time. Of course, Mex topped the list as always and that Tbill fella is steadily increasing his point bankroll with his new book. And I looked at who was in the 3rd through 10th spots, too.
But a thought struck me: This isn't a list of the top ten point earners of all time. This is a list of the members with the top ten current points in their bankroll. Which means this is a list of the members with the top ten point profits (not counting what they spent in the SBR Store).
What I want to know: Who are the top ten point earners of all time? From the day the Points system was launched back in August, who has actually been awarded the most points over the course of time? NOT counting the points that were spent, lost in the casino, transferred to other members, wagered in the sportsbook or on SBR contests.
In other words, just show me the positive side of the ledger. I have had 2,091 point transactions since August 12, 2009 and have 475 points right now. But how many points have I actually been awarded in the past 5 months? What if I had never lost a single point from betting or giving them away? What if all the points that were transferred to me in my old point book were still in my bankroll? And what if you only counted the SBR contests where I won points and didn't count the ones where I just threw my points away? Would I have 20,000? 50,000?
Mex has over 17,600 point transactions, which has gotta be the most transactions of anyone by far, and he has over 9,000 points. But how many points have actually flowed into his account in the past 5 months? 500,000? 1,000,000?
The point system has been around for 162 days, give or take, so if you earned 6 points a day (which we know wasn't the reward system at the beginning, but still...) you'd have 972 points right now. So just sitting on your ass for half a year gets you over 1,000 points, but almost none of us do that. We bet them and try to get more.
So who are the top ten members who have actually earned the most SBR points all time?
