The same thing happened to me on another forum.

I've noticed that it just depends on your screen name. If you are a respected poster, you can make a thread about anything, and it will get views and responses. If you are new or don't have that many posts, you can make the most interesting thread ever and just get a modest amount of views, and if you make an average thread, expect almost no views.

Every time I post I get a message that says:

"Thank you for posting. Your post will not be visible until a moderator has approved it for posters."

Sometimes this takes a few minutes, sometimes it takes several hours.

Anyway, by the time it is "visible," it is usually irrellavent to the thread.

Is this just because I am new? Anyone else have this problem?

Don't worry Steve, it also happens threads go back to page 2 very fast due to the action other threads have, specially during day time, it's nothing to be concerned about, you did your part and that was contributing to ther forum with a pick, that's more than a lot of fellows out there do and that makes a difference

Steve, I am one of the guilty parties. The only defense I can offer is I have no idea where the NHL forum is. I did contribute to the leaving threads though. I can't help it, I was taught to be polite. Someone says bye I say bye. Someone says hi I say hi. They wave I wave. Sometimes though and these are the times I look forward too, it's someone you really don't mind leaving. At those times it's like your last chance to get in a parting shot. I know that's not polite but it is fun.

In the future if you include JJ's name in your title your views will increase. Doesn't matter if you are addressing JJ or not inside just include his name in the title.

I owe you three free views just out of guilt. I'll try and find that NHL room.
