If the Vikings are soooo bad on the road then why isn't the line 7? And if were gonna put so much stock into the vikes road woes late in the year then what about the Saints home woes late in the year? They got absolutely owned by Dallas and then choked against the lowly Bucs! Bottom line is none of that matters now. What matters now is which team executes, doesn't make mistakes, and wins the turnover battle. Also, if the Vikes get pressure like they did on Romo then they will be in great shape to win SU.....

i believe that the saints D will have more answers for the vikings D than the other way around, so Saints -3.5 looks like a very nice play

If Saints -3.5 seems to easy for you, then you shouldn't be betting these games. Vikings got just as explosive of an offense as the Saints, maybe not the same quality of receivers but they still can put up plenty of points. The big difference is Bret Favre is the better QB, and the Vikings have the better defense which in my opinion says the Vikings are the better team. I say Vikings win straight up

Brees has been ripping defenses apart for a while now. He is an elite QB that doesn't get much talk due to the Peyton M. And T. Brady love fest. Brees is solid.

If anything, I think Favre will be more prone to mistakes. If Vikings get down Favre will make mistakes where I don't think Brees will.

I like the Saints big in this one.

Quick short passing game which NO are very good at. I like the Saints to cover this one.

I think it comes down to if you think the Saints O-line and backfield can block the Vikings rush/blitz. Dallas was supposed to score on the Vikings last week according to most, but we all saw how that turned out. I think it will be close, leaning Vikings with the points as of now. We will see where the late money goes.

The Vikings are not the same team when playing on the road (4-4 this year), and the Saints are a much better team at home. The only reason this line isnt closer to -7 is because of all the sqaures betting the game that see favre has the chance to go to a Superbowl and they see that he is an underdog. I really really like the Saints here. One more thing, the last time the Saints and Vikes played each other was last year at the Superdome. Yes, the Vikings won, and yes, they didn't even have favre. Watch that game and it was the Saints special teams that lost that game. Two blocked kicks (one returned for a touchdown), and then a missed field goal lost it at the end. The Saints held A.P. to something like 45 total yards that game though, and they didn't have Colston, and defensive mastermind Gregg Williams was not with the team yet. Point being Minnestoa's pass rush didn't really phase Brees, as he is a quarterback who will step up in the pocket to avoid the edge rush. The Saints O-line is better now, especially the C and guards, who will be going up against the Williams tackles. I am dead serious when I say that, if I were a linesmaker, this game would be Saints -10. I'm waiting for all the square money to fall on Minnesota though, and hopefully that line will be -3 by kickoff.

This is the only really good analysis I have seen so far in this thread. Everyone else just seems to be guessing and throwing their opinions around (nothing wrong with that) . I personally feel that, on the road in an NFC championship game, Jared Allen and company won't be able to sustain the pressure on Drew Brees and the Saints offense for a full 60 minutes. And even if they get to Brees early....Sean Payton and that offensive game plan will have enough weapons and strategy preparation to adjust and throw screen passes, run misdirection run plays and throw short hot routes to counter any front four pressure filled attack MINN can put on them. The only thing I cannot account for is turnovers....should MINN def force a fumble here or perhaps a tipped ball INT from Brees....the Saints could be in trouble for the majority of the game until the 4th quarter.

Personally I think this game will remain close going into the 4th quarter.....something like 23-20 either way.....then New Orleans will score something like 13 straight and put the Vikes away 36-27 based on sheer effort, being less fatigued and play calling situation.
