No one party should be in total charge of the White House and Congress. It kills debate, and never works. Clinton and Reagan had successful tenures with the opposite party in the Congress. Carter and GW, enough said. November is going to be a landslide for Republicans, and if Obama goes to the center, he'll be re-elected in 2012.

The American people are EXTREMELY UNHAPPY with Barack Obama and the congressional democrats trying to socialize our medical care system and really our entire nation.

In order to get the prized 60th vote on health care, just look at what Harry Reid did. He gave the state of Nebraska and its senator Ben Nelson extremely favorable treatment over the other 49 states by promising to pay for Nebraska's share of the health care legislation FOREVER.

The democrats know NOTHING about morality or fair play and will do WHATEVER IT TAKES to get their socialized agenda pushed through.

When the republicans had all the power under Bush, the "Gang of 14" was formed which ensured the democrats still had a fair say in what gets done in Washington. Compare that to the present when the democrats have all the power and they hammer out the details of this massive government health care takeover which the American citizens clearly DO NOT WANT and do it behind closed doors with nary a republican in sight.

This election took place in MASSACHUSETTS which is probably the strongest liberal stronghold in the country and it was an election to replace the late Ted Kennedy's seat. It was an extremely important election considering it was for the 60th democratic senate seat and also held a huge place in the hearts of the citizens of Massachusetts due to the Ted Kennedy factor.

With all of that, a republican candidate won the election and won it quite handily.

If the democrats and Barack Obama can't see the obvious message Americans are sending and continue to plow full speed ahead with their socialist agenda, then the 2010 mid-terms are going to be one for the books with incredible democratic party losses.

Clearly, the democrats have learned ABSOLUTELY NOTHING from all the mistakes they made back in 1994 and are doing the exact same thing now that they did then.

If Obama and the congressional democrats take heed and do a 180 degree about face, they can go a long way at reversing all the damage they have done since Obama took office. They can help the country and their party.

However, I believe Obama and the democrats are far too stubborn and will continue doing exactly what they have been doing which has gotten them into so much trouble so quickly.

I have come to the conclusion that its impossible for one party to have total control of our government and do a reasonable job.
