the only reason he beat nadal in french 09 is cause nadal had a worst injury then he was showing and he was reeling from his parents divorce (nadal fam was extremely tight). soderling was more flash in the pan than anything. he has a nice gm, but mentally he has serious chinks that will plague him for a long time

he finally beat federer last year...soderling was battling a bit of an injury here and he always blows azz in the southern hemisphere...has never made it past the 2nd round

not when it counted he didn't. fed beat him in the french in 4 sets i believe and then at wimbledon fed destroyed him in straight sets

the pussy smaller tournaments don't mater. alberto canas beat fed twice in a span of 2 wks a few yrs ago but where did that get him?

gotta win in the grand slams or it doesnt mean jack, jack

5th major my ass, the year ending championship is just a show, the players know it and go their and have fun rather than play tennis

just watch the best play their, they dont give a dime, only the smaller players try to win cause thats they only time the big boys are gonna let them win

having said that soderling is a solid player but not a nadal or federer

and granollers is a great tennis player as well, that is why i staid away, two good players battling it out is too unpredictable
