#10sure they will. everyone watches the super bowl, even non sports fans. plus jets are from a big market and many people are rooting for the Saints to win to "help" their recovery from the hurricane and many will love to just pull for a david vs goliath in this big gameComment -

Fair enough.
I already hammered the opener on IND. I see a 17 point victory or more.Comment -

#17racer, I think it doesn't matter too much. the superbowl is one of the few maybe only games, that doesn't NEED to have great teams, players, or markets necesarily to do well. On super bowl sunday, tell me what show/network will get better ratings if the saints and jets play?Comment -

#20Originally posted by pavyracerI know it doesn't matter on Superbowl day. For us gamblers is important to understand that NFL is a business first and use this for our advantage when placing bets next weekend.
ok, i'm not sure if I follow. but you are saying that the NFL is gonna try to fix the superbowl to get the best matchup to boost ratings? so you should bet accordingly.
Is that what they did last year?Comment -

#23brilliant move to have the Cardinals make it all the way to the super bowl last year. Huge market and what an anticipated Rivalry matchup that wasComment -

#24Either team in the NFC going to the Superbowl will be very entertaining. I don't care too much for the Colts or Jets, so it won't make much different to me for whomever represents in the AFC.Comment -

#26thats what they said about last years matchup, whats the point of having teams where they are if one matchup is better (on paper) than another just because of which city they represent.
I'm sure no one will boycott Cleveland vs Green Bay if it happened.Comment -

Isn't the New York market the biggest market in the U.S.?

So to sum it all up......poor ratings if small market team NY Jets make it to the big show, but they can't because the refs are in on the NFLs plan to make sure Farve meets Manning in order to better market their sport..... what does this all mean?.......... it means that when you post at a site for 3 years daily and reach 25k posts in such a small time frame the effect on the brain is compareable to 1 year of daily Crack use.Comment -
