JJ, I don't know you too well, but I'd suggest a couple things. First, there are billions of people in the world with worse problems than you (unless you have a serious health problem). For that matter, there are probably a lot of people near you who aren't doing what they want on a Saturday night. I'm single, have little no friends, and it sucks a bit, but putting things in perspective helps some.

Second, man up and make yourself more attractive instead of sulking. You'll feel better through the process of this alone.
