He could do well on a team with a good O Line , then again any NFL quality back could. He will get beat-up badly otherwise.

I will take that bet. Good is one thing, All-pro is another.

He needs to absolutely SHINE at the combine to get drafted anywhere higher than the 3rd/4th round...

                          I can't see him running a 4.5 so I don't think it will happen.

All depends on the team that drafts him, regardless of where he gets drafted.

Your right. And how about the other Stanford back in the early 90's, "Touchdown" Tommy Vardell. Fast, agile backs have success in this league. He'll have to be utilized in other capacities.

you are insane if you think he is overrated. This dude is UNDERRATED! Teams passing on this guy in the draft will be sorry. He will b at least as successful as jonathan stewart.

For those who don't pay attention to the draft one bit, of course he is going to be considered a bust. But most draft experts will tell you he never was anything more than a 3rd round pick at best thanks to his speed.

He did redshirt Freshman year. Although he has graduated, he had one year of eligibility left.

He will have some success in the NFL, but unless he goes to a great team, he will not be Pro Bowl Caliber. Gerhart wasw alwasy leaving Stanford after this season. Why is this such a shock to everyone. He was even listed as a senior this past season.

i think kansas city would be a good choice 10 -12 carries a game and would be a great blocking back also a great goalline back
