Anybody form Tomball? Thinking about moving there or South Katy. Looks like you get better value on your home in Tomball but South Katy is really nice. Any ideas?

Need more information before I can make a recommendation. Tomball has a lot of lower to lower middle class. South Katy is more middle to upper middle class. Significantly more money in Katy than in Tomball. Better areas around Houston, with much better commutes, depending on where your office is.Comment -
Looking around the 200's now. I own a home in North Katy right now but this area is going downhill quick. I know the area in South Katy is nice but heard Tomball was nice also. Your statement makes it seem like Tomball might be what North Katy is now. If that is the case I will stick with S.Katy. Lots and lots of apartments in Tomball. Keep your eyes out while you are driving around. Also, check out criminal activity and school performance. I think you will find south Katy is your better choice. Also, 290 isn't any better than I-10, since the tollway was completed.Comment -
Big difference between Tomball and Katy. Are you planning to work in between those two locations and that was simply the extent of what you're willing to put up with commute-wise?Comment
