Seriously, I did it, not that bad. You'll mostly be among old people who are happy just to be doing anything, and they pay you for everything mileage from the minute you leave your house. Wages are between $12-$18 depending on how urban the area is and if you meet other Unemployment criteria you can claim when they lay you off.
Now I'll add that I was in the part of their field that corrects people's work (because I tested high) so I wasn't one of the people asking a ton of questions, but if you need $ get off your ass and set yourself up for awhile imo it's really easy.

So how many intrusive questions by the 100's are they going to make you ask people that are none of the government's business that might piss someone off that might go balistic on you?hehe!I think Jesse Ventura is going to do an episode of his conspiracy show on the census. They might have you bugging peoples houses and putting micro chips in people when you shake their hand. Then you have to ask questions like, have you ever won a bet from an off shore bookie, have you ever looked at porn online and have you ever thought Obama was an ass.

Again for me it was driving around with a handheld verifying addresses, and if the zone tested that the person who "canvassed" it (i.e. asked every person their address) didn't do it right I then had to do it on foot for them, only verifying simple info such as address, people in household, any rental units etc. The ones who actually have to ask the questions I'm sure would have a harder time, but if they tested higher they wouldn't have to do that shit.
