Glad to hear someone is doing well with blackjack. I have been getting murdered. Seems like every 20 I get is a push or a dealer five-card 21. But I'm still trying to learn the game and will use a few points for the education.

JG, the game is pretty simple. For one thing, you should memorize the chart of the proper move in every situation. Or at least have it in front of you.

But if you need a simple rule to follow, you always act as thought the dealer has a 10 underneath -- always assume that. Thus, the 2 through 6 are "bust cards" for the dealer, in which you are pretty much standing, and 7 through Ace are strong cards for the dealer, in which you are pretty much hitting, even when you're at 16, in order to get past him. Simplest way to look at it.

Thanks for the advice. I'm currently memorizing the chart. Not that it's done much good for me in the short run, but learning to play the right way should pay off eventually.

As the membership builds I suspect the SBR Sportsbook will get pretty much balanced action ie as much bet on the favorite as the dog. But in the meantime there are quite a few of you that have turned it into your own little points machine.
