Actually the daily points aren't being decreased, it was just a configuration error I made. The system is being upgraded to require 3 posts for your daily 4 points. It's back to 4pts now and will require 3 posts soon.

Got it. Makes sense. No big deal. First post of the day and a couple posts on the boards. Hardly a day goes by that I don't have 2 cents to chime in on at least a couple topics.

I think so too. Three normal posts are required to have the automatic daily 4 points credited now. One word smilies will not be counted by the system.

You have to remember that when using the "Quick Reply" function, your points count does not update because the page does not reload, as this function is AJAX-based. Refresh the page after making 3 posts, and then decide if you wanna get all worked up about getting or not getting your 6pts/day.
