10. Picks, I mean, you may not want to hear this, but this is a SPORTS FORUM and as little sports we may talk, its usually how the refs are fixing a game, or this team sux, or this player sux, blah blah, people still do post picks. You can fade, tail, do w-e you want, but we need sports picks.
9. Posters....obv traffic is a big part of the forum business. The more posters the better. I post at Bobby Sandels forum and it's BORING AS FUKK, only like 5 posters, it's not fun. So the more posters, the better, which leads me into #8.
8. Non sports related topics. Yes, we need sports picks, sub-forums is a good place for that, but of course still post them in PT, b/c some ppl don't use sub-forums. But other than sports topics, forums need the rivalries b/t posters, the real life news, the sports news, the line movement questions, payout questions, contests threads, ect. This is what makes a forum operate. Another forum I looked at, was strictly sports related topics, had more posters than uglyluck.com (bobby's forum) but again all sports related mainly. Not enough action to keep traffic up.
7. Videos. Yes videos. As much as you may dislike my videos, other posters still post videos. And even if you don't like my videos, most still bring in traffic to that particular thread. All comments may be bashing me or what not, but traffic in a thread is good for business. Just think of my video for birthday sex. That thread RogueScholar made had over 100 replies in less than a day. Not to mention, the countless JJ gold videos which always DO WORK and have numerous comment and views. Keep the videos coming SBR.
6. Contests, they bring interest to forums and also allow broke fuks to play for free in these contests. You can win real money in these and can maybe turn that money into more money and cash out. Or you lose it all in 1 bet, hence why you are broke in the first place. But overall, contests are good and fun
5. Lines...I love how SBR, has SBRLINES.com. It allows you to view lines at many different books at once. You can check on line movements from each book and the price that the book is offering. During game, instead of going to your book for 2nd half lines, I always click on the second half button on SBRLINES, then if I like the line, they I would play it. Rather than logging into my sportsbook and stuff. I love SBRLINES and it's great addition to the forum.
4. Sharps....why are sharps important, b/c they can give you the edge in different games. I have seen people and heard stories from posters that will blindly follow a particular poster if he is a on a play. Also sharps give insight on different parts of betting from a smarter level. Sharps are needed for their sharp eyes and excellent picks
3. Haters.....you have to have hatters in all forums or else the place is boring as fukk. As much as people hate certain posters for always attacking losing posters or losing picks, they are needed. Not only do hatters cause posters to get into biggering arguement over the internet, but more threads are made over this and also more traffic is brought. When a poster wins a pick, the thread may have 20 replies, when a poster loses, it will also have 20 replies, then haters come in and the thread now has 75 replies, due to back and forth jawing at each others. Haters need to feel better about themselves a lot so take it out on other posters.
2. Character/characters.....sometimes I feel like SBR is like a script or WWE, where all posters have a certain angle or certain character they play on the forum. They like to stir up the pot by trying to piss off posters or make others feel better about themselves. Or, no matter what is said, they just ignore everyone and calmly, quietly just post picks and do what they do on SBR. Some posters want to cause fights, some posters don't post picks, some only post picks. Some do this and other do that. But often I feel that before I even open a thread, I know who posted in the thread and what each have said, and sometimes I am right and that's scary. The characters we have here boys is all put together in the #1 thing all forums need
1. A bash The SBR BASH. Boys, I have never been to a SBR bash, only being 19 years old and since it is held in Las Vegas, you need to be 21, but in 2 years I shall go to one. I think the BASH is the most important thing in a sports forum. Come on, look at the videos and the pictures from it. As much as there is fighting in here and hating on others, we all love each other and most posters I would love to meet in person. And where does that happen, the SBR BASH. Where you can gamble w/ posters, get trashed w/ posters, get SBR awards, meet the mods, meet the guys who are behind the computer and not only have a great week in Vegas, but do it w/ some friends. Get beyond the computer, behind all the negative and just have fun w/ the guys who you post w/ on a daily basis. See what actual people do for a living, see what they look like, take some pictures, get drunk, gamble, and do w-e, but either way, it will be great time and vacation. Afterwards, get back to your computer and post some more, next year, do it all over again.
Boys, there is my list. I hope you enjoyed
DO WORK
