ESPN is so one sided with the Macgwire steroid coverage
The guests they bring out for the Breaking news of the steroid use is His long time coach at 2 different teams and Bobby Knight who is a DIE HARD cardinals fan and friend of Macgwire's. What do you think they are going to say about him??
    It's an ass kissing fest.
get some people that have an opposite opinion to show the contrary side. I mean it's so slanted coverage.

Time heals. I don't think anyone wants to remember him as the meek little bug in front of the congressional committee, but rather the behemoth slugger who, along with Sosa, gave us all something to follow one great summer that feels long ago...

I don't want it to heal. I think mAC is the most liked out of all these guys that are being exposed but if it heals for him than it heals for the REAL strokes like BONDS and CLEMENS. These guys need to feel some pain. How can they possibly go down as the best pitcher and best power hitter of all-time. It would be a tragedy in my eyes.

I agree about Bonds and Clemens. The problem is, we don't know how good they really were. We don't know enough about the steroid era in general. I think it's fair to say we don't know how much the steroids helped them for a few reasons:

        1) has anyone been able to quantify the edge a player gains by taking different steroids?
        2) who else was on steroids?
        3) if a pitcher on steroids is facing a hitter on steroids, where is the advantage? is it the same as if neither was taking steroids?

Whatever ESPN says is true. No other sports network exists and they are fair and unbiased.
