Raiders are you saying that Shrink got a piece of the action somewhere in there (from either MFG's cut or BetUS)? Do you also think Justin or John is getting a cut in this case, and thus still pursuing it like they are while not sharing what they know (which is presumably even more damning on the players)?

You have to give it to MFG in a certain way. By getting a 10% rebate on net wins or losses for the week, playing only one game a week, and then playing it both ways on multiple accounts with that deal, he was assured a nice profit week after week. I wouldn't ever do it because I would assume I wouldn't get paid when (not if) caught, but it looks like he's going to profit off of this similar to the BetUS situation thanks to SBR blindly sticking by him despite all the lies. He lied about the number involved, then said they weren't at all associated (even though they all shared the same building, placed bets within 10 minutes of each other late at night, and knew each other's passwords), and now says it's not worth the trouble of $500K to gather all the IDs, and yet SBR for whatever the reason won't share the information I'm sharing to the forum and seems to still be actively pursuing this case.

I'm fairly confidant that this is just one guy doing it all, with a few folks getting a cut for their names used. I'm also fairly confidant that a few of the names used don't even exist as MFG got more and more greedy. This should have been an open and shut case in favor of the book a long time ago in my opinion, and I'm stunned that this is still being discussed by SBR brass without disclosing the actual facts to their unknowing public....

Due to the amount in dispute, we wanted to be thorough. We are a player's forum, and we respect confidentiality of those that come to us, even if we ultimately rule against them. This gets complicated though, if a complaining party "goes public" as was the case here.

BetUS refused to pay the balance on MFG's account based on the fact that a clerk took an underdog free-play bet that was against an unlisted rule for that bonus. They wanted to void that win and the subsequent wins weeks later. MFG had enough money in his account to make that and other winning bets. There was no grey area or a leg for BetUS to stand on. BetUS did the right thing in revisiting that.

Justin I've just gotten so worked up about this that I started a new thread venting my frustration. I agree that the amount in question merits extreme caution and thoroughness, although I still believe the facts that are now out on the table as well as the initial lies told by the player are extremely telling. More importantly, I don't think it's fair that the player is allowed to continue to go on a slanderous tear despite being warned otherwise without letting the book's facts be told. And the worst part of all is that he has been allowed to extort money in the past!!

Justin the second time he came public with his side you should have started up a separate thread for the entire forum to see detailing both sides of this story with all facts that were currently gathered. I don't see how anything but that is fair. However, the way this has been carried out leads one to naturally conclude that SBR is allowing for a one-sided distorted picture to be painted for whatever the reason may be....

Big Bollocks- You make some great points in this thread. MFG is a big time scammer and both BetUS and Shrink have been shady in the past but I think that Shrink has come full circle.

Justin seems like a good honest guy. SBR has to be harsher on players that are scammers so that the guys with honest problems can get helped.
