How about joining some sort of rec sports league? That gets you out of the house, gets you at least a little exercise (not much if it's bowling or pool, but even those are much better than sitting on the couch), and puts you in a social situation with a different group than your coworkers (who obviously aren't doing it for you).
Most leagues are happy to find a team to put you on. You might find yourself with a bunch of new good friends. At worst, it's a lame time but you get a little better at some game.Comment
