Always have bad luck with WEC for some reason, but let's turn it around tonight...
Ben Henderson (+120) risking 2 Units
Think this will be a back and forth fight, and I like Henderson's conditioning better. I think this is a semi-boring fight that'd decided by the slight edge in Henderson's wrestling game. Not to mention the whole time Varner has been hurt, Henderson has been actively fighting. Had Varner around +135, think the wrong fighter is favored here.
5 Dimes Parlay (+213) risking 2 Units
Urijah Faber (-400)
Kamal Shalarous (+150)
Urijah is the anchoring play. Would have loved to play this straight, but I think the odds are too high for a fighter coming off a broken hand, even though I like him to win the fight decisively. However, I feel Shalarous adds nice value to this play. Both him and Dave Jansen have high-levels of wrestling knowledge, and heavy hands, which make the fight a nightmare to cap. I expect that once the fight starts taking on a slower pace though...the slightly superior wrestling of Olympic wrestler Kamal Shalarous will be the decision maker, along with his great conditioning.
Anthony Morrison (+830) risking 1 Unit
This is my value play of the evening. Bookmaker has this way too high in my opinion. Morrison is another heavy handed 145lber, and +830 is too juicy to pass up against a guy who just got KOed in devestating fashion against the explosive Jose Aldo.
