Some may have chose to leave and others have been put in time out. I choose to remain because as bad as some of the things that have happened this week I still like SBR as a whole. I don't agree with certain things and I don't like or accept certain beliefs.

Some of the posters that have decided to move on were big assets around here. Jello for instance contributed in a major way to helping out with the Best Bets thread. He also contributed sports picks.

So it's not entirely true that only the non sports related posters are upset by recent events here.

Look, SBR is privately owned. If SBR bans me for saying something but lets JJ say the same thing without punishment oh well, its their forum. Its a privilege to post here.

Be that as it may, taking issue with the obvious double standard and selective censorship is bound to cause people to take a stand against it. Doesn't mean it will change doesn't mean others will join in. It means that to that individual they are doing what they feel is right.

SBR does have the right to pick and chose what they deem presentable on these pages but they also must understand that it is the posters that keep people coming here and staying. Be it sports related or otherwise.

I don't expect I will every be able to explain something to you because we are very different people and it's obvious we don't agree on many subjects if any.

SBR will survive without those that left of that I am sure. New posters will come and fill some of the void but I doubt if anyone involved in what transpired this week will be better for it. Some won't care and some won't realize what was lost and that is sad as well.

I remember I went to the track everyday for 20 years. This is no lie. Every phucking day. The only day they were dark was christmas. I noticed this year they were dark Christmas Eve also.

Back when I first started going to Fairmount Park they raced 5 days a week, but like 3 months after I started going they simulcasted chicago races downstate. So you had Chicago(Sportsmans,Hawthorne) during the day and Fairmount at Night, and on Monday and Tuesday Chicago Harness.. Then soon after that simulcasting went crazy and you have your choice of tracks. Characters isnt the word. There was this guy who would piss his pants and walk around that way all night and nobody said a word. I remember when that retarted idiot dropped a $100 bill and I scarfed it up. He had wads of $100 all the time but stunk to high heaven.
