    Vegas Questions
If you live in vegas, or in Nevada, can you place bets by phone or internet with some of the sportsbooks?

I think I remember seeing that the Orleans and some other books have phone betting (and at least one had internet betting, don't remember the name)

Also, when placing a bet in person at a sportsbook do they ID you, or is it like just buying a ticket anonimously? i.e. is it somewhat possible for a somewhat sharp player to play without them figring out he is a sharp in very short order?

    Thanks!!

Yes. Several books have phone/Internet access for Nevada residents although that would be the absolute worst way to avoid "detection" as you have an account where all of your wagers can easily be tracked.

Yes, I figured this, but if you bet in person is it without giving ID?

Depends on the casino, the amount, and how old you are/look. If you're a regular bettor they get to know you anyway.
