John, i was planning on buying a new program for my laptop.. I was looking at Adaware, Spyware Doctor, and Trend micro.. Do you feel like Adaware would be the best choice i could make?.

I can just tell you that I bought adaware after a very nasty virus took down my hard drive and never had another problem. After its configured it doesnt bother you with pop ups or block stuff you need. And I never had even a single issue ever again.

Good one. For a while here we could barely keep the servers going much less anything else.

I will say SBR has come a lonnng way. Johnny and Ivan and the gang do a tremendous job keeping the sites running good now. Some of you old timers will remember the sites here were slow and down quite often.

Toolbars are out of style now. Most companies are using "add-ons" and the old toolbars don't meet the ie8 standard. Like ie6 they come up as liabilities with scans. We'll leave it up and support it as long as peoples are using the older browsers.

That is because 99.9999% of all viruses created are made to attack Windows not a MAC, why create a virus that will only affect 5 - 7% of computers sold today?

Mac's can and do get viruses, if they were so perfect then why are they built with virus and Malware removers built into them?

I use Firefox,AVG and Advance System Care and have never had a single problem.

If you wanna spend twice the amount for a computer that the normal person will never need then buy a Mac.
