            Those games counted last week for both teams: Cincy would have gotten to play Houston and Philly would have had a first round Bye. So I don't think they weren't trying

                I don't think Philly quit, but were outplayed. I believe Cincy packed it in though. They had very little effort. I think they would rather play the Jets than Houston after Houston smoked them earlier in the season. Who knows. They are done though.

                  You don't choose who you play in the regular season, why would the playoffs be any different. Win and beat whomever is put in front of you. Don't worry about who beat you or who you THINK you can beat. Serves both teams well. Philly, who is never healthy at playoff time needed the bye week more than any other team, and they still get outplayed. Spare me.
