Granted, Charlotte appears ripe for the taking having lost three straight (0-3 ATS), yet the Blue Raiders in spite of riding a seven-game winning streak are just 2-7 ATS in true road games this season. Towson might be in second place in the CAA behind Delaware; nevertheless, those betting basketball are playing the pedigree. Towson has lost six straight to Northeastern (2-4 ATS), including at home 57-54 as 5.5-point favorites this season and have gone from a Pick to +2. While we agree it is difficult to wager against such a streak, Northeastern comes with more baggage than a United flight. The Huskies are 3-7 and 1-7 ATS at Matthews Arena this season and off their upset victory against the College of Charleston, they are 0-10 ATS at home after a game where they covered the spread since last season. Like Mid. Tenn. State listed above, Louisiana Tech is tied for the lead in C-USA action and is arguably the best team in the league with a 21-5 (11-8 ATS) overall record. The Bulldogs have gone to a more balanced approach in scoring, since top scorer Raheem Appleby was injured, with four different players at the top of the score sheet in their last five conflicts. With East Carolina floundering in conference play, basketball bettors felt compelled to raise Louisiana Tech two digits to -10.5.
