Texas lost because of bad play calling and wide recievers with no hands.

Totally agree and penaltys.

Texas was probably a little better team. But when you have all those penaltys, dropped passes, lose your qb and run the ball on 1 st and 2nd down because you have a true freshman in there who can barely handle a snap plus 4 turnovers or more it makes winning difficult yet Texas almost overcame all of that.
