cant blame him,
the oppurtunity is knocking and he's trying to captalize on the season.
would you stay in Cleveland for 900K a yr if you could make more somewhere else.

Pro sports is a business, 90% of the players dont have any loyality to teams.

I don't think he has a choice, he signed a 6 year deal.....which is assinine to begin with.... that is a couple years longer than the avg NFL career.... so if you are GREAT you are locked in at a low rate and if you suck, you just get cut.

He's one of the best special teams players in the history of the game. The climate of the game and contracts is that when players break out they reap the benefits.
Pay that man his money.

what is the league minimum?

900K a yr should be close to it.
I know NBA used to be 600K, IDK about now though.
