I read the Burger king Double cheese burger is actually sold at a loss! The franchise owners have been screaming about taking a loss on them...so enjoy it while it is there! Sure they make money off the fries and drinks...but...a lot of people are just grabbing the burgers without the sides...

They cost $1.06 to make!!

The Burger King franchises are doing more than screaming. They are suing, to have it their way. 80% of the franchises in the US are suing.

I've been meaning to try one. I know Wendy's (my previous favorite restaurant) has gone to complete shit. They upped their prices, made their dollar menu burgers smaller than mcdonald's, and their overall menu (the burgers) look like you are at Hardee's. The new Wendy's owner completely destroyed the place. Couldn't believe it.

burger king gives you a seeded bun and almost twice the meat as "those other guys".

other favorites of mine include $1 side salads at burger king/mcdonalds/wendys. why anyone would pay $3-4 for a salad that's not even twice as big as the $1 side salad is beyond me...

The last time I had one, it tasted funny, like they were using old meat.
